LSF Rooms are back and asking you to WEAR YOUR VALUES.
Ethical clothing and footwear take centre-stage during V For in this four day-long vegan community hub and pop-up boutique curated by Po-Zu.
After a hugely popular event during Fashion Revolution week, Po-Zu is excited to announce that London Sustainable Fashion rooms is back to showcase The Vegan Edit at the Old Truman Brewery’s four-day-long V-For festival.
Veganism is on the rise in Britain, with the number of vegans up from around 150,000 ten years ago, to at least 542,000 last year, according to the Vegan Society. While a large focus of the vegan trend has been on plant-based food, increasingly we are seeing vegan fashion come to the fore as more people aim to wear, as well as eat, their vegan and ethical values.
Vegan consumers will have the opportunity to discover sustainable alternatives to leather, such as organic cotton, cork and pineapple leaf fibre from ethical footwear pioneers, Po-Zu, who will be holding a sample sale and pop-up shop and showcasing the new vegan collection ethically made in Sri Lanka.
Po-Zu has invited other ethical fashion brands to join, including:
Howies - highest quality, lowest impact clothing for the sports we love doing and for our day to day lives
Komodo - contemporary style with respect for people and planet
Wear the Walk - the ultimate revolving wardrobe and an endless library of luxury clothing
At 10am on Saturday morning, Po-Zu will host a breakfast panel discussion, chaired by Safia Minney, MBE, with ethical fashion pioneers, including founder Mark Bloom from Komodo, Zoe Partridge from Wear the Walk and vegan changemaker. The event welcomes influencers and vegan and ethical aficionados alike to learn from those leading the pack in vegan fashion and join the conversation to reduce our impact on the planet.
Begin your vegan fashion journey, find ethical solutions in our one-stop shop, deepen your knowledge of the issues and do something.
