London Sustainable Fashion Rooms x Fashion Revolution Week

Monday 23rd – Sunday 29th April 2018

Shop 4 (opposite Rough Trade), The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, E1 6QL

From niche to norm: Ethical fashion and footwear takes centre-stage during Fashion Revolution Week in this week-long community hub and pop-up boutique curated by Po-Zu.

Major awareness has been brought to the global fashion agenda in recent years, however there remains a great deal of work to be done to improve business practices in the developing world. 5 years on from the Rana Plaza tragedy, this pop-up in the heart of East London aims to deepen the debate on fashion in workers’ rights and environmental sustainability.

For one week, ethical consumers will be able to shop top-to-toe in ethical fashion whilst interacting with the political agenda at the heart of the Fashion Revolution.

Showcasing some of London's most exciting and affordable ethical fashion brands and designers:

  • sustainable and VEGAN footwear by Po-Zu
  • Fair Trade fashion pioneer & womenswear leader, People Tree
  • vintage-inspired ethical fashion & knitwear by Lowie
  • men’s streetwear, curated by Brothers We Stand with printed t-shirts by Earth Positive
  • innovative new high-end wardrobe rental service, Wear The Walk

The event will include workshops on crafting, upcycling and mending and talks and panel discussions which will look at how far the industry has come, and the steps needed to take the agenda forward and bring sustainability and workers' rights and our fashion supply chains.

Begin your ethical fashion journey, find sustainable solutions in our one-stop shop, deepen your knowledge of the issues and do something.
