Po-Zu for Timberland

Spring-Summer 2011

Timberland and Po-Zu join forces to take eco-conscious footwear a big step forward for Spring-Summer 2011.

Sharing a common vision of promoting the best practices in environmental design, Po-Zu and Timberland have produced a shoe made from biodegradable components, which are also recyclable.

The shoes are designed to be easily disassembled, so that by the end of their first life, can be sent back to Timberland where the parts are then recycled or reused (where possible) to make new pairs of shoes.

The men’s shoe collection endorses reverence to high quality materials and refined styling, while using the fewest possible materials.

The shoes come in a dual-branded compostable shoebox that doubles up as two seed trays.

A key feature of the collection is the dual-purpose style called Convertible that converts from a shoe to a boot by attaching an extension using an innovative lacing system.
